  • What does your Brand represent? (Purpose):

-Aesthetik Boutique represents the appreciation of beauty from within & on the outside.

  •  How did you start? Where did your idea come from? (Details):

-I knew at a young age that I was going to be in the fashion industry. When I was 5 & playing with Barbie dolls I knew I wanted to eventually design clothes & style people because I loved how I could bring my vision of style to life. In high school, I decided I wanted to have my storefront, so I went off to college to pursue my double major & get my Bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising & Marketing. A year after I finished school I started by stepping out on faith & impulsively investing.

  •  Who or What inspired you during the process of starting your Brand?:

-What inspired me during the process of starting my brand was the mere fact that I saw all these other regular everyday girls like me living out my dream to have my boutique. Yet here I was just barely taking my first business seriously because I wasn't as passionate about cosmetics as I am about fashion. I knew what I was capable of from starting my cosmetic brand so I told myself that I would apply myself to bringing my childhood dream to life.

  •  What challenges did you face in the starting process and along the way?:

- I believe the biggest challenges I face in the start-up process of my boutique would have to be having enough capital to start with the inventory I want as well as creating my vision on a budget. Another challenge I face as a small brand is getting people to take my brand serious and collaborating to help gain more exposure to my brand.

  •  What were your expectations in the beginning and what are your expectations now?:

- At the beginning of launching my boutique I expected sales out the door because I feel like clothes sell easily. Although I was wrong about getting sales out the door, I see that I have to get in the customer's face more. I learned that if I want- sells out the door I am expected to work a lot harder with promoting and marketing my brand. Moving forward I expect to master marketing & learn creative ways to get in as many consumer's faces as possible.
