Life path has a funny way of developing us into our purpose. Even when we feel stuck at just one idea we grow into another which turns out to be a master plan. Clinton Bailey, founder of Royal Bum the clothing brand is a great example. Beginning in his college days he established the idea of just making t-shirts which eventually transformed into an actual business. Using his personal stories became the main source behind his inspiration for new designs. September 23, 2021, during the Bovtiqve Believe Tour the Houston, Tx native showed us a few samples of what he has been working on lately. Anime is a Japanese craft that is well known for sparking ideas throughout different cities. The Royal Bum creative director was motivated by the idea and formed an anime bomber jacket. He also used inspiration from HBCU’s for his sweatshirt collection. If he could start over he would have attended an HBCU. Next, he gave us a sneak peek of the Royal Bum never before seen varsity jacket which is for royalty members only! Bailey also produced a cafe-inspired design on one of his signature t-shirt that represents where he enjoys going often.

But what is a Royal Bum? and how did it grow into a purpose? Bailey explains that we all start at nothing and the intention is to conquer your crown. That’s what makes you royal. “Your achievement is the crown,” says Bailey. As the emerging designer counties to spread his brand across the nation he aspires that others chase their dreams and change their circumstances as well.
